Our 22 acres of vineyards, situated on gentle south-facing slopes in a shallow sheltered valley, produces several varieties of wine grapes that thrive in English conditions. Most varieties grown are of Germanic origin including Ortega, Schonburger, Huxelrebe and Dornfelder from which we produce single variety wines. Ortega, which accounts for almost 50% of the vineyards wine grapes, produces Biddenden’s most distinctive wine.

Wines from other varieties of wine grapes are blended to produce our Gribble Bridge, Rose and Sparkling wines. Great effort is made to ensure that the Estate wines produced are of the highest quality. This is reflected in the number of awards our wines have received in both national and international competitions.

The office will be closed from Noon Christmas Eve – 8th January inclusive – any orders placed within this time will be picked up on the 9th January 2012, for delivery during this week.
