Brockhill Lambing Day

Date: 29th March, 2015

Location: Brockhill Park, Sandling Road, Saltwood, Hythe, Kent, CT21 4HL

Time: 10am – 4pm

This is a great day out for the family. Children will especially enjoy bottle feed lambs and seeing lots of other animals on the day at Brockhill Park Performing Arts Centre.

Charing Point – to – Point

Date: 4th April, 2015

Location: Charing Race Course, Charing, Ashford, Kent, TN27 0JD

This years Charing Point-to-Point is on Easter Saturday. A great day of racing with Biddenden’s Wine, Cider and Juices on sale on the day!

Rochester Sweeps Festival

Date: 2nd – 4th May, 2015

Times: 10am onwards

Rochester Sweeps’ Festival is a celebration of the coming of spring, and as May Day was also the traditional holiday for chimney sweeps or Climbing Boys as they were officially known, the two aspects have combined to produce a unique event. Expect lots of music, merrymaking and morris dancing alongside a Jack in the Green fertility figure personified and of course plenty of sweeps. Dancing takes place in the High Street over the whole weekend, and the Castle Gardens have a funfair, real ale and marquees for musicians.The Procession on the Monday is the culmination of the festival and it begins at the Castle Gardens, then goes all around town. 60 morris sides take part.

West Kent Garden & Leisure Show

Date: 16th-17th May 2015

Times: 10am – 5pm

Location: West Kent Garden and Leisure Show at Longmead Stadium, TN10 3JF, the home of Tonbridge Angels Football Club

As well as loads of ideas for budding gardeners, there will be local produce to buy together with birds of prey displays and cooking demonstrations. Children will be entertained by a bouncy castle and face painting.

Admission is just £3.00 with children under 14 accompanied by an adult going in for free.  There is plenty of parking immediately outside the stadium and on Saturday a bus service (219) runs every 20′ from the town centre to Darenth Avenue a five minute walk from the stadium

Heathfield & District Argicultural Show

Date: 23rd May 2015

Times: 9am – 5pm

Location: The Moorings, Pages Hill, Heathfield TN21 0UU

Heathfield is a true agricultural show, showcasing cows, sheep horses, pigs. There is loads of different areas to visit and it is a great family day out.

A humorous educational live stage show about sheep and wool. Edu-tainment at it’s best. 9 breeds introduced onto their own stage. Don’t miss the Dancing Sheep.

Taste the Best of Produced in Kent 2015

Date: Sunday 14th June, 2015

Time: 11am – 4pm

Location: Biddenden Vineyards, Gribble Bridge Lane, Biddenden, Kent, TN27 8DF

Biddenden Vineyards will be hosting its 9th Food and Drink Day giving you the chance to ‘Taste the Best of Produced in Kent’!

This annual event is in aid of the Kent Air Ambulance Trust, therefore all costs of the stalls and any money raised on the day will all go to this great cause.

With over 30 stalls to browse, meet the producers and try and buy their fantastic produce, you will not be disappointed.

The Kent Air Ambulance are also giving you the chance to ‘Win a Mini’ as they are celebrating their 25th Anniversary of great service.

So come along for a family day out of good food, great drink and a fantastic setting!


FREE Guided Tours 2015

Every Saturday throughout the year and Wednesdays June- September - Learn more about the history of the vineyard & how we make our award winning wines, ciders and juices.

Arrive at the vineyard at 9.45 for a free cup of coffee or tea, your tour will begin at 10am and take approximately 1 hour. The tour is followed by tastings of our wines, ciders and juices in our vineyard shop. Please consider the weather conditions on the day of your visit and bring with you suitable footwear.

These tours are for individuals, families and friends – pre-booking is essential.
