Visiting Us

Location

The vineyards are situated 1.2 miles from the lovely Wealden village of Biddenden, with it’s High Street flanked by half timbered housesonce used for the weaving of cloth, and its 13th century grey stone church. The legend of the 11th century Biddenden Maids – twins Eliza and Mary Chulkhurst, born joined at the hips and shoulders in 1100 – is world famous and the charity in their name still exists today.

The area affords a great variety of attractions to make a great day out or a weekend away, these include Castles, Historic Gardens and a Steam Railway. For more information see visitkent.co.uk

Visitors are welcome to stroll around the 23 acres of vines, set in the beautiful Kentish countryside. There are two routes marked out around the vineyard for you to follow at your leisure. Dogs are welcome on leads. See the presses and bottling line in the winery and visit our shop to enjoy free samples of our wines, ciders and apple & pear juices. Please note that on occasions the vineyard walks may be closed for essential spraying during the summer & harvest.

Our shop also stocks ranges of locally produced goods such as honeys, chutneys, jams and biscuits.  We also have a wide selection of local and regional beers, as well as a cheese chiller stocked with a variety of locally produced cheeses.  Every week a different local product is available as a free guest tasting.

Our home reared ‘Dangus’ beef is available to buy frozen from the vineyard shop.  A cross of Aberdenn Angus & Dexter, grazed and finished on our own fields to produce the finest Kentish beef.  Hung for 28 days for full flavour.  We offer a wide range of cuts as well as burgers, pies & pasties.

Teas, coffees and ice-creams available. It is the perfect place to buy a gift and at Christmas is a treasure trove of goodies. You are welcome throughout December to a free glass of warmed Monks Delight Cider and a mince pie as you choose your shopping.
