Arrive at Shepherd Neame – Britain’s oldest brewer – at 11am for a guided tour and tutored tasting, followed by lunch in the Visitor Centre Bar.  Depart at 2pm for Biddenden Vineyards – Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard – and enjoy a guided tour through the vineyard and winery with a glass of wine and the opportunity to taste the wines, ciders and juices, followed by a Kentish Cream Tea.

Arrive at Biddenden Vineyards at 11.30am for a guided tour of the vineyard and tastings of the award winning wines, ciders and juices followed by a Ploughman’s platter served with Winterdale cheese, local ham and a glass of wine.  At 1.30pm depart for Winterdale cheesemakers, for a guided tour of the dairy & cave, followed by cheese tastings and a Kentish cream tea.

Arrive at 12 noon for a Ploughmans Platter served with a glass of wine, followed by a guided tour and tastings. At 2.40pm it’s time to depart for Tenterden Station to join the train for a nostalgic trip back in time on a steam train from a bygone era whilst enjoying a Kentish Cream Tea.

Arrive at 10.30am to embark for the 11am sailing and to enjoy a trip around Bewl Water. This will be followed by a fork buffet lunch. Depart at 2.30pm and take in the Kent countryside en route to Biddenden Vineyards.  On arrival you will enjoy a tour through the vines, with a glass of wine, followed by a traditional Kentish Cream Tea and the opportunity to taste the wines, ciders and juices.

With The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway

Arrive at Hythe for a ride on the train departing at 10.20am for New Romney. At New Romney there is plenty of time to visit the Railway Museum or have a cup of tea. From New Romney to Biddenden your coach will take you through some delightful Kentish scenery. On arrival at Biddenden at 12.45pm you will be treated to a Ploughman’s Platter and a glass of wine. Then it’s time for a guided tour of the vineyard and the chance to taste and buy some of the excellent wines and ciders produced at the vineyard.

With Pashley Manor Gardens

Arrive at Pashley Manor Gardens “one of the finest gardens in England”, at 11.00am with your group. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful landscaped gardens, including an exhibition of sculptures for sale, plus botanical art, gift shop and plant stall. Followed by lunch on the terrace overlooking the moat or in the Garden Room Cafe in inclement weather. (Refreshments not included in the quoted price.) Depart at approximately 2.30pm for Biddenden Vineyards for a guided vineyard tour with a glass of wine followed by a Kentish Cream Tea and the opportunity to taste and buy our award winning wines, ciders and juices.

How to Book

  1. Contact the Vineyard to check availability of the date and time you would like to visit, as there are some restricted dates.
  2. A deposit of 25% is payable to confirm your booking.  Coffee stops and self-guided parties will require a £25 refundable deposit.
  3. We will need final numbers at least 14 days prior to your visit. However, minor changes can be made up to 5 working days before your visit.
  4. Final Payment can be made on or before the day of your visit.
